i finally fell asleep
but I was awakened by the sound of footsteps from behind my door
someone tried to be quiet going up the stairs
but it was too awkward
i heard every careful step
i covered my head with a blanket
the sounds coming from entryway keep me awake
strangers passed by the 35th flat, and headed to the 36th
fuck!
there is no reason to worry
i hope...

you can't imagine what you'll see
why do you live? don't you know?
they won't forgive

however, they passed the 36th, then sent to the 37th
in my flat...
i swiftly stand up from the bed
clock dies
power cut again
"i'm clean", i'm sure
the steps fell silent at my door
my breath froze
i feel like falling into an abyss
the palm is wet
i listened
there was the sound like someone scratching at the door
after a couple of seconds I heard a soft and persistent knocking
"who's there?"
frightened i was numb
my teeth chattered
"who's there!?"
